On January 13 2021, the SBA (Small Business Association) elected to extend the 8(a) Business Development Program an extra year for any businesses participating in 2020. RJS is proud to announce that our 8(a) status will continue through September, 2021. Feel free to reach out to the RJS team for more information on what this means for our business.
RJS has been a part of the 8(a) program since 2012
The official register states, "..the pandemic has adversely affected 8(a) concerns and their ability to participate in and receive the full benefits of the program. Thus, SBA believes it is reasonable to conclude that any firms participating in the program as of the date the national disaster was declared due to the pandemic (i.e., March 13, 2020) should receive the program term extension authorized by Congress."
