Project Highlight!

Project Highlight👷 : RJS has just completed work on the Wapato Irrigation Drop 1 Pumping Plant for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The project included the addition of automated screening technology to assist in canal debris removal at the existing plant to enhance irrigation water delivery to nearly 140,000 acres of farmland on the Yakama Indian Reservation. The facility plays a critical role in supporting agricultural operations and water management throughout the region. Ongoing upgrades are focused on improving safety, efficiency, and long-term operational reliability. RJS has been grateful for the opportunity to perform this work for the BIA and to support infrastructure that benefits the Yakama Nation as well as the surrounding agricultural community.

The second photo features the RJS team alongside our subcontractors SCI Industrial Services and IWS (International Water Screens), Wapato Irrigation personnel, the BIA COR, and the owner’s representative from Jacobs.
